Our client company is seeking an event & venue sales director in the Dallas area. This is an outstanding opportunity for the right individual with the ability to sell a well established venue for weddings, quinceaneras, birthday and graduation parties as well as corporate events.

The ideal candidate shall have

· 5 years or more event planning experience in selling a venue for weddings, parties, and corporate events with a strong portfolio of work.

· Have a pipeline of contacts in wedding planning, event catering, photography, florists

· Work well independently and be able to create a client base and get referrals from satisfied customers

· The ability to effectively market the venue through all forms of social media

· Superior time management and negotiation skills with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

· Proficient with MS office software

· Willingness to work irregular hours and weekends when necessary

· Bachelors degree preferred.

This position comes with a base salary of $50,000 plus commission with first year earnings at $85,000 and second year earnings over $100,000.
