Our client company is seeking a marketing sales specialist in Houston. This organization is a leading supplier of a wide range of high-quality life science reagents, including bioactive small molecule tool compounds. The successful applicants to these positions shall have experience in calling on teaching hospital laboratories and a strong understanding of medical school laboratories. Applicants must have superior sales and prospecting skills with a proven track record. The successful applicants shall

• Work with the online sales and marketing team to promote the brand awareness in the US and Canada, and to promote the company’s products and services to customers

• Conduct market analysis and use sales data to form and execute exploitable strategies to meet the sales goal set by the company

• Expand the customer base by continuously identifying and reaching out to new customers. The primary focus of this position is to call on labs in teaching hospitals. Experience in calling on labs in teaching hospitals is strongly preferred.

Bachelors degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Nursing is strongly preferred

Compensation includes a $50,000 base salary plus commission. First year compensation $85,000 plus.
