Seeking a Joint Interest Billing and Accounts Payable Manager to assist the Accounting Team by managing both the Accounts Payable and Joint Interest Billing processes. The ideal candidate will have initiative, leadership qualities, flexibility, and effective communication skills.

Requirements:

• Oil & Gas Industry Experience (2+ Years)
• Joint Interest Billing Experience (2+ Years)
• Accounts Payable Experience (2+ Years)
• Management Experience (preferred)
• Experience with PakEnergy fka WolfePak (Preferred)
• High Attention-to-detail and accuracy
• Organizational and Communication Skills
• Leadership qualities
• Ability to navigate the basic functions of a computer, familiar with Microsoft Office Products

Duties:

• Responsible for overseeing, organizing, correcting, and coding invoices in Accounting Software
• Work with internal personnel and vendors to verify invoices and answer inquiries
• Lead a team of Accounts Payable Specialists in accomplishing company goals
• Draft and post monthly journal entries
• Responsible for annual 1099 reporting to the IRS
• Create and send monthly Joint Interest Billing statements to working interest owners
• Occasional communication with working interest owners
• Make bank deposits and accompanying entries to record payments and refunds
• Create, record, and track Authority for Expenditure (AFE) projects in Accounting Software
• Ad Hoc projects and reporting upon request

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting (preferred)
• Understanding of Accounts Payable & Joint Interest Billing Practices
