Construction company looking for a Senior Accountant to join our group. This position will report to and work closely with the Controller and Assistant Controller. This person must be proactive, problem solver and a fast learner as Accounting will be looking to implement processes and improve the reporting timeline.          

General Accounting Duties

GL bookings for Fixed Assets, Inventory, Debt/Lease and Intercompany transactions

Reconciling Balance Sheet Accounts as well as assist in a fixed asset tracking system/subledger and maintaining asset additions, disposals gains and losses as well as calculation and posting of depreciation

Assist Controller in implementing controls in a rapidly growing organization

Track certain key capital expenditures

Assist other accounting personnel with special projects

Assist with audit requests

Assist with complex accounting projects and initiatives of other members of the Accounting team and Management

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Master preferred

5+ years of accounting experience

2+ years’ QuickBooks or NetSuite experience required

Advanced MS Excel skills required

CPA Preferred
