Fund Accounting Associate

PE firm seeking candidates for Fund Accounting Associate. 

Selected candidates will have Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, and one year of experience.  Willing to train.

Responsibilities:

Review third party administrator reports related to fund quarterly financial statements.

Create and maintain financial reports.

Research technical accounting issues.

Assist in audit preparation and coordination.

Assist in journal entry creation and data input into the accounting system.

Coordinate with third party for tax preparation and review.

Assist in fund's fee and distribution calculations.

Coordinate with other business units to receive legal documents and financial statement inputs.

Assist in reviewing and maintaining investor portal.

Communicate with investors on fund accounting and asset information.

Qualifications:

Previous real estate or finance experience, preferably in a private equity or financial services environment a plus.

Previous multifamily, office or lodging private equity fund experience a plus.

CPA or equivalent certification a plus.
